Hey Deviants, and Artists alike, how is life. I know all 10 of you who watch my profile have just been dieing to know where iggzy's been since he was promising weekly updates and was doing so well with sticking to that. Well, the truth is I've been busy, with class, with laziness from Spring Break, and most importantly for me, working on writing, planning and doing whatever else is necessary to make my first Short Film.

As you may have noticed(though no one commented ) I posted an opening sequence to a Film Noir. I wrote this as my first try at writing a a script, with no prior knowledge of screenwriting(still have none but still writing) and am very happy with that and actually am still working on that. That is the start of the film I'd love to produce, one that will likely develop into a feature, but I can't finance that, I can't support making that as I'd like, so I'm developing a short that I will make. Basically the short is to get practice and attention on myself for future work, and I'm happy with the story and the way the script and plan is developing, and right now that will take up most of my time. I won't post the script as it is unfinished, and will not be as divisible as the Noir, not to mention it is a mystery with a twist ending that I want to keep secret, and I plan to submit it to DA when done so I can host film here, so I want you to be surprised then. All I will say it is a suspenseful identity mystery, I will be filming it this summer, and potentially editing it this summer as well, and if not I will in the Fall and hope to have it done and ready by Christmas time.

As for the art, I am still doing that, but its kind of on hold. Presently I have added a lot of things to my scraps, you can look if you want but they're nothing special. 3 of them are actually rough blueprints for a rig I plan to build to get a desired shot for my film, it is in the process of being changed but what is posted is copyrighted and under strict CC licensing. I forget what some of them are but they're there if you want to look.

I am still doing commissions if you want to check a previous journal for that info, I'd be glad to help as I need the cash, especially as I plan to/have to finance this movie mostly myself.

If interested, I can send you the current draft of the script and current plan, as well as my credentials and all that if you want, as well as how to send me donations. If you help me finance I cannot guarantee the film will make any profit from what is spent on it, though I can guarantee I will pay you back, though it may be over a period of time, I will gladly do free art for you while you wait for me to pay you back. Also, another option is if you finance my film, consider it an investment in my talent, and when I breakout and start making real profit I will pay you back in full and then some for your help.
